From beginner to pro, there’s a break for all skill levels at Surf Lakes
The Beginners area is the white-water area that rolls through the inside of the reefs. Beginners can learn to paddle, catch waves and stand up.
The Intermediate wave is a rolling beach break – a gentle wave that’s easy to catch, ride and learn to do turns. This wave is also suitable for longboarders.
The Advanced wave is a slightly larger wave, with a steeper take-off and more critical sections for advanced turns as well as aerial manoeuvres.
The Expert break has a five-second barrel, followed by a section for advanced turns. The size, speed and power of this break is suitable for competitions and events.
The Pro break is a heavy slab, suitable for pro-level surfers and bodyboarders. It features a steep, challenging take-off with a fast, heaving barrel.
Surf Lakes can produce over 2,000 surfable rides per hour, with 8 primary waves (compared to other techs with 1 or 2).
Multiple reefs break simultaneously, producing a variety of waves for learners through to pro surfers. All abilities surf at once. Every session.
Surf Lakes’ 360° layout creates 1/2 mile (800m) of developable beachfront, creating opportunities for Food and beverage, retail,, accommodation etc.
